Since 2020, the IORK (Indoor & Outdoor Rental Kart Championships) has grown into the largest rental kart racing series in New Zealand—drawing hundreds of drivers from across the country and even international entrants. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a karting veteran, IORK is your chance to compete in a national-level racing event with no racing licence required—just skill, strategy, and sheer determination.
From Grassroots to Glory
What began as a small local series has evolved into a national phenomenon, with multiple divisions based on weight and age for fair, competitive racing. Each driver races in six high-intensity heats using our fleet of finely-tuned ACE RiMO Karts, with strategic pit stops adding an extra layer of tactics to every race.
Race Day & Night – Rain or Shine
Held on tracks like the new circuit at Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland, IORK delivers epic race weekends with day and night sessions, wet or dry conditions, and serious championship atmosphere. The track is fast, the racing is tight, and the competition is fierce.

Since 2020, the IORK New Zealand Rental Kart Championship has brought together hundreds of passionate racers from across the country—and even some international entrants—for one of the most competitive and exhilarating rental karting events in the Southern Hemisphere. From heart-pounding qualifying heats to strategic pit stops and nail-biting finals, each year pushes the limits of speed, skill, and endurance.
Held at world-class venues like Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland, IORK offers a racing format that’s accessible to all, whether you’re a first-time competitor or a seasoned karting enthusiast. Divided into categories by weight and age, drivers face off in 6 heats, with the top performers earning a place in the finals and a chance at podium glory. Recent updates to our race format include 8-minute timed heats and new pit-stop rules, adding strategy and excitement to every race.
