🚦 Driver Spotlight: Jaime Blake 🚦

Meet 23-year-old Jaime Blake from Auckland, making his IORK debut this year! 🏁

Jaime's racing journey started young, with his uncle introducing him to karting when he was around 8 years old. Fast forward a few years and he's back behind the wheel - this time ready to take on his first IORK.

And if Jaime's profile is anything to go by, we're in for some entertainment 😂

In his own words, Jaime has "absolutely no business thinking I'm this fast" - but apparently that hasn't stopped him yet. His racing strategy seems to involve questionable confidence, sending it into every corner and hoping the tyres agree.

Whether that results in a podium or a scenic detour through the grass, Jaime's promise is simple: he'll be having a laugh doing it 😂🏎️💨

His racing inspiration is none other than Shane van Gisbergen, while his dream event would be the Bathurst 1000. And with a love of skydiving already under his belt, Jaime clearly isn't someone who shies away from a bit of adrenaline! 🪂

Longer term, Jaime would love to compete in an endurance race, whether that's karting or something like the legendary 24 Hours of Le mans.

It's his first IORK, but Jaime is bringing plenty of confidence and a willingness to send it - so we'll see where that takes him!
