🚦 Driver Spotlight: Jerome Pluck 🚦

When he's not serving up meals in the kitchen, Jerome is serving up lap times on the track.

The 34-year-old chef returns for his second IORK campaign after an impressive debut last year that saw him fight his way through to the semi-finals. While reaching the semis remains one of his favourite motorsport memories, Jerome heads into this year's event with a clear objective: go one step further and earn a place in the final.

Jerome has been involved in karting for the past three years, with the last year and a half focused on rental kart racing. During that time, he's become a regular at Supa Karts, Ace Motorsport, and KartSport events, steadily building both experience and speed against some of the country's best rental kart racers.

What keeps him coming back is more than just the racing itself. Jerome loves that karting offers an affordable entry into motorsport while still providing fierce competition and a community where competitors are always willing to lend a hand when needed.

His favourite circuit is Ace Motorsport, a track where he's spent plenty of time honing his racing skills, while New Zealand Supercars star Ryan Wood serves as his motorsport inspiration.

And when it comes to rivalry, Jerome won't have to look far, with family member Mandela Pluck providing plenty of motivation to stay ahead on track.

After proving he can reach the knockout stages in his first appearance, Jerome arrives at IORK 2026 with valuable experience under his belt and his sights firmly set on a finals trajectory.

Good luck, Jerome - it will be exciting to see how far you can go this year.
