At 38 years old and hailing from Auckland, Jozef is making the trip to Nelson for his first-ever IORK, stepping onto the grid in the 100kg & Over category.
And if there's one thing Jozef is chasing, it's SPEED ⚡
When asked what he loves about karting, his answer was straight to the point: "I love speed." With Formula 1 listed as his favourite racing inspiration, he clearly appreciates the thrill of getting behind the wheel and pushing the limits 🙌
His racing motto? "I am Speed." 💨
But while speed is the goal, when asked what advice he'd give himself heading into IORK, his answer was simple: "Be professional." 👊
He'll be racing under the nickname "Speed Spender", bringing plenty of enthusiasm and a serious appetite for getting around the track as quickly as possible ⚡
A first IORK, a love of speed, a Formula 1 influence and a whole lot of track ahead of him.
