🚦 Driver Spotlight: Rylan Valentine 🚦

Oct 8
2 min read

Meet Rylan Valentine, a 16-year-old from Upper Hutt who's heading into his first IORK campaignĀ with one thing on his mind: speed, competition and maybe a sneaky podium! šŸ

A student at Upper Hutt College, Rylan has already started building his racing experience at Daytona Raceway Upper Hutt, with Auckland GameOver also on his karting radar. Now he's taking on a bigger challenge and lining up against drivers from across the country at IORK.

Rylan's passion for motorsport comes from watching Formula One and GT3, and his racing hero is a name with a huge place in New Zealand motorsport history: Bruce McLaren.

His favourite event? The legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, and his ultimate goal is to move beyond karting and eventually race in a lower-class racing league.

But there's more to Rylan than racing. When he's not chasing lap times, he plays guitar! šŸŽø

At just 16, he's already hungry to improve and says he's always looking to get better both on and off the track. Now he'll get the chance to put that mindset to the test against the IORK field.

He's coming in as a first-timer, but don't let that fool you. He's already told us he's chasing a sneaky podium.Ā šŸ‘€šŸ†

Good luck, Rylan! We'll be watching to see if this 16-year-old can turn that ambition into an IORK podium on his debut. šŸš¦šŸ
