Entering your first IORK can feel a little intimidating.

IORK isn't just about finding New Zealand's fastest rental kart drivers—it's about bringing together people who love racing.

From the moment you arrive at Pro Karts Nelson, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere where experienced competitors are always happy to help newcomers.

Our event team will guide you through registration, the compulsory driver briefing and everything else you need to know before your first race.

If you've never driven our circuit before, we recommend booking a practice session before the championship. It's a great way to learn the layout and build confidence before racing begins.

You'll compete in multiple races throughout the weekend, meet competitors from all over New Zealand and enjoy one of the country's premier rental karting events.

Many drivers who entered "just to have a go" have returned year after year because of the friendships, competition and incredible atmosphere.
