Last week, we took a trip to Auckland to meet with the team at ACE Motorsport and Mount Smart Stadium to finalise key event logistics. From VIP zones to live entertainment, commentary setups to trackside planning—it’s all coming together for what promises to be the most exciting IORK yet.

IORK 2025: Behind the Scenes at ACE Motorsport!
On Monday, 12th May, the IORK team visited ACE Motorsport and the wider Mount Smart Stadium complex to meet with stadium operators and the ACE team. The goal? To lock in some of the exciting logistics and layout details for the 2025 IORK New Zealand Rental Kart Championships—and we’re thrilled with how things are shaping up!
We toured several parts of the complex, including potential VIP spaces, spectator zones, and trackside infrastructure. One highlight was inspecting the upstairs room at Lilyworld, which may become a premium VIP zone during the event. We also discussed introducing a live DJ, adding extra energy to both Friday and Saturday nights!
From a race control perspective, we scouted elevated locations for our officials and commentary team, ensuring they’ll have full visibility of the action-packed track—key for accurate race results and live coverage. We also reviewed plans for live driver interviews, pit access, and even the potential to live stream parts of the event.
The team at ACE Motorsport confirmed that all IORK competitors will receive a VIP membership, unlocking added value and future racing opportunities.
With practice sessions planned for Wednesday and Thursday, free VIP perks, a buzzing venue, and multiple entertainment elements in the works, IORK 2025 is shaping up to be one of our biggest events yet.
Stay tuned as we roll out more exciting updates—including driver packs, merchandise reveals, and much more!
