🚦 Driver Spotlight: Jordan Burn 🚦

Few drivers have been part of the IORK journey quite like Nelson's Jordan Burn.

Returning for his fourth championship campaign, Jordan has become a familiar face on the grid and has consistently proven himself as one of the most competitive drivers in the field. His results speak for themselves, with a 3rd-place finish in the 85–99.9kg category in 2023 and an impressive runner-up finish in the 100kg+ category in 2024.

Jordan's karting journey began after hearing about the CKT Racing League while attending Pro Karts Nelson, and he's been hooked ever since. What started as a curiosity quickly turned into a passion for competitive racing and a desire to continually improve behind the wheel.

Away from the track, Jordan works as a manager and crew member at McDonald's, where he's developed at least one very unique skill. When asked for a fun fact about himself, he claimed he can make a Big Mac in just 10 seconds. Whether that's officially verified or not remains up for debate.

Growing up, Jordan looked up to local racing heroes Brendon Higgins and the Nelson Tigers, helping fuel a love of motorsport that continues today. While karting is his current focus, his ultimate dream is to one day race speedway, a discipline he has followed for years.

Despite jokingly naming Frazier Bouterey as his biggest rival, Jordan knows that anyone can provide a challenge once the visor goes down. That's one of the reasons he keeps coming back to IORK year after year.

With multiple podium finishes already to his name and years of championship experience under his belt, Jordan enters IORK 2026 as one of the proven contenders. Don't be surprised to see him battling near the front and adding another chapter to his growing IORK story.
