🚦 Driver Spotlight: Rhyan Miller 🚦

At just 18 years old, Nelson's Rhyan Miller is already building his own reputation on the IORK grid.
Returning for his third IORK appearance, Rhyan first discovered competitive karting after following fellow Nelson racer (and brother) Jordan Burn to a CKT Racing League event. Watching Jordan race was enough to spark something in Rhyan, and before long he was giving racing a go himself.
His connection with Pro Karts Nelson goes even further, having previously worked as a staff member himself. So, having spent time on both sides of the track, Rhyan knows the track well and has plenty of familiarity with the racing community that helped get him started.
That introduction has turned into a genuine passion for the sport, and Rhyan has already shown that he has the pace to compete. His previous IORK highlight came with a 3rd-place finish at the Bathurst IORK event, giving him his first taste of standing on the podium at the championship.
These days, Rhyan works as a manual handler at Port Nelson, but when he's racing, the goal is simple: win his IORK division.
Competing in the 70–84.9kg category, Rhyan will be looking to build on his previous podium result and take that final step towards the top of the standings. At 18, he's still early in his racing journey, but he's already shown he can mix it with more experienced competitors.
From watching Jordan race at CKT, racing in the league himself, to working at Pro Karts, to now lining up on the IORK grid himself, Rhyan's racing journey has come full circle.
Good luck Rhyan - we're looking forward to seeing whether he can turn that previous podium into a win this year! 🏁
